We often times overlook the essentials of water to our body. Most of us with busy lives don't even bother to count how much to consume every day. Our body are at least 75% water and our brain alone is close to 90%.
The effects of dehydration comes to play when we feel thirsty. Do you crave for H2O or bottled drinks when you fell thirsty? As much as cool aid or Gatorade taste much better from water, I still suggests that you take water because it has a lasting positive impact to our body. Your blood moves the oxygen and needs water. It helps you heal from injuries and in cleansing and detoxification. H2O improves your digestion and sexual performance.
Let me give you some information what it can do for our body and how it contributes to our Wellness and Health.
- Consume at least 8 to 10 glasses, or more. If you are an active individual, listen to your body if it needs more.

We know the term fasting in English, that is the same as shaum in Arabic language. In Islam, all muslim have a must to do fasting in Ramadhan. - Prophet opened his day with a breakfast:a glass of cold water mixed with a spoonful of honey . - In Dhuha time (it is about 8 a.m), Rasulullah always consumes seven date fruits. The Prophet once said, "Some one who ate seven date fruits everyday, he will be protected from poison." This was proven when the Prophet was poisoned by a Jewish woman in the war of Khaibar. One of the Prophet's companions which ate the food eventually died. BUt Rasulullah was still alive. The secret is a seven kurma are usually consumed by the Prophet.
- By late afternoon, Rasulullah menu is usually a vinegar and olive oil. Usually also combined with the bread. There are lots of benefits, including preventing weak bones, dementia in old age, constipation launched, destroying cholesterol, and aid digestion. Bread mixed with vinegar and olive oil also works to prevent cancer and maintains body temperature in winter.
- At night, the main menu Prophet food are vegetables. Vegetables could boost the immune system and protect against disease. After dinner the Prophet did not go to sleep. It will make the food consumed into the stomach quickly and well. As in his saying, "Melt your food with the dhikr of Allah and pray, and do not you go to sleep after eating, because it can make your hearts became hardened."

Actually, what is meant by health? Can we be healthy when we are not sick? According to WHO (World Health Organization), health is a state of physical welfare, spiritual, social and economic.
1. Physical health associated with optimal function of organs in accordance with its role so that the body becomes fresh and fit.
2. Spiritual health related to the stability of psychological and spiritual conditions are always raging to worship on God.
